Born and raised in Miami-Dade County to Jamaican immigrant parents, Jackson has dedicated his career to enhancing educational equity and opportunity across the entire school ecosystem. Jackson's professional journey spans various roles across the educational spectrum. As an educator, curriculum developer, and international workshop facilitator, he has adeptly engaged diverse audiences, from juvenile sectors to adult learners, leveraging his expertise to foster meaningful educational experiences. His work in instructional design and pathway concept mapping has been integral in shaping curricula that align with the holistic development of students. During his tenure as Associate Director of Learning and Delivery at Digital Promise Global, Jackson championed the integration of equitable technology in education, preparing systems to adapt to evolving learning environments. His efforts have ensured that educational strategies are inclusively designed and accessible, enhancing student learning outcomes nationwide. In his current role as Chief Transformation Officer, Jackson steers Project Transforming Hope towards new horizons. He focuses on strategic partnerships and organizational direction, ensuring the program reaches and resonates with young Black males in South Florida. Through his leadership, the program champions economic mobility, holistic wellness, career readiness, and post-secondary opportunities, embodying the core values of integrity, character, service, and uplift. Rashard Johnson
Chief Operating Officer - Co-Founder Growing up in Overtown, Little Haiti, and North Miami neighborhoods, Rashard Johnson was deeply familiar with the challenges of crime, poverty, and limited access to opportunity. His experiences fueled a desire to create positive change, a drive that propelled him through college and into a career dedicated to community upliftment. Rashard's academic achievements began at Florida State University, where he graduated with a B.S. in Sport Management, celebrated as the 2016 Homecoming Chief. He continued his educational journey at Louisiana State University, earning a Master's in Higher Education Administration. Here, he honed his skills in leadership development, program management, and student advising, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors. As the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Project Transforming Hope, Rashard plays a crucial role in steering the organization's operational strategy and ensuring the efficacy of programs designed to empower young Black males in South Florida. He oversees the organization's daily operations, enhances parent engagement strategies, and fosters robust alum networks to ensure long-term community impact. Rashard's commitment extends beyond program execution to building sustainable community relationships, ensuring that every young man who walks through the doors of Project Transforming Hope is met with opportunities that transcend their circumstances and foster real-world success. |
